Location: Gaborone, Botswana
Education: Degree in Facilities Management or related field
Closing Date: 8th July 2026

Key Performance Areas

Reporting to the Chief Human Capital Officer, the Facilities Manager will manage all the buildings and grounds, utilities, safety/security systems in order to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for staff. The incumbent also oversees the scheduling and supervision of maintenance and repair activities, contracted services, and custodial services.

Qualifications

  • A Degree in Facilities Management or related field

Key Competencies

Key behavioral competencies for the job include Analytical thinking, Results orientation, Customer focus and Integrity are needed for the role.

The candidate should also demonstrate key technical competencies including Fleet Management, Health and Safety Management, Security Management, Property Management, Records Management, Space Management and Space Planning, People Leadership as well as Change & Project Management.

Job Requirements

  • A Degree in Facilities Management or related field
  • At least 5 years’ work experience, 2 of which must have been in a managerial position in a Facilities/Administration/Security environment
