Head Network Operations (5Years Full Time Contract)
We are looking for an exceptional collaborative leader who will be responsible for providing leadership and direction of the Core, RAN, Transport, Data network, NOC, mechanical and engineering operations at Mascom.
Job Summary
The incumbent will be required to develop and implement the divisional strategy, oversee Core, RAN, Data, NOC, Transport, Mechanical and engineering operations management. Furthermore, the successful candidate will manage day to day network operations to ensure excellent and consistent customer experience and operational excellence, leading all configuration and management changes to the Network. Engaging and managing Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Network Performance are additional key performance areas for the role. In addition, the incumbent will develop; the budget of the department, Department training needs, Customer Relations Management and ensure compliance to the Regulatory, Risk, Health and Safety compliance for the department.
The role requires the incumbent to be technically skilled and be seasoned in Compliance Management, Fault Management, Network monitoring & incident management. The incumbent must have strong aptitude for Network Configuration, Performance management, and Reporting. Furthermore, the candidate must ensure Customer Experience and Environmental Management standards are met.

Job Requirements

- B.Eng/BSc Telecommunications or B.Eng/BSc Electrical and Electronics (majoring in Telecoms) or equivalent
- Relevant Managerial / Senior Management Development Programme and/or MBA would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years in the telecommunications Industry, With at least 5 years relevant managerial experience.
