JOB SUMMARY
The Trade Marketing & Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for driving effective trade marketing execution and ensuring Mascom’s products, services, and commercial offers are positioned correctly across all channels. The role will focus on strengthening in-trade visibility, supporting sales and distribution objectives, and coordinating branding, promotional materials, and logistics to meet the operational requirements of channel partners.
Key Performance Areas:
- Ensuring that there is access and visibility of Mascom products and services on the last mile which is achieved through channel partners.
- Positioning different marketing elements in the market.
- Ensuring commercial stock availability and logistics across all channels.
- Planning, coordinating and executing in the most efficient way while collaborating with various key partners either internally (Sales & Distribution) or externally.
- Coordinating customized branding, activations and events campaigns to drive the fintech business especially associated with the key partners.
- Support Product/Marketing teams to collaboratively develop and execute business plans to achieve incremental business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent – Telecommunication / CIPS/ Computing / Business in management information systems or equivalent
Key Competencies
The candidate should be creative and innovative, with strong commercial acumen and organizational awareness. They should demonstrate a proven track record in customer orientation, stakeholder management, planning and organization, diversity and inclusion, as well as networking and building collaborative relationships.
Key technical competencies for the role include distribution tools and technologies, product and service knowledge, channel partner management, marketing and campaign management, branding, distribution channel management, field activations, service delivery, logistics management, SLA and escalation management, vendor management, and customer database management. In addition, the ideal candidate should possess solid competencies in customer service metrics, data analytics, and project management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent – Telecommunication / CIPS/ Computing / Business in management information systems or equivalent
- 5- 7years’ experience of with minimum experience of 3 years in the field of products and services management. Telecom experience will be advantageous.
