JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an exceptional leader who will report to the CEO and head our Corporate Affairs Division which manages our Regulatory, Stakeholders, Legal, and Media relations. This entails management of partnerships and collaborations and strengthening our communications, public, and legal relations with key stakeholders.

If you would like to be part of a dynamic team, we are looking for a Corporate leader with a solid legal grounding, superior communication management skills, and a proven ability in strategic conceptual thinking. With primary responsibility for Compliance and Regulatory matters, you will need to have a strong command of corporate governance issues, as well as the legal and regulatory compliance competence that is critical to the
successful engagement across the stakeholder universe.
Essential attributes are the ability to safeguard the organisation’s brand and reputation through proven Corporate communication management abilities; effective crisis communication; concise regulatory and legal advisory, as well as employee engagement and productivity capability. Additionally budget management to
oversee a far-reaching corporate social responsibility and investment programme is an important key success factor.
The position requires the incumbent to be adaptable, flexible and able to deliver and manage change. An ability to coach and mentor as well as to manage and resolve conflicts, whilst building networks and collaborative relationships, would provide you the edge. We are looking for a results oriented professional to execute at a high level, solve problems and make decisions through strategic and conceptual thinking.
Integrity and personal credibility are core prerequisites as are enhanced communication skills. You will also need to display requisite business and commercial acumen and demonstrate affair for creative and innovative thinking.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Master’s degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage
- Relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage
- 12-15 years’ experience in legal and/or regulatory affairs/ public affairs/ media relation of which 5 years must be in a management role
- 5 experience with a law firm, government agency, or Company focused on compliance, risk management and/or investigations
- Management experience within a competitive industry or telecommunications/ ICT Sector is advantageous
