Responsible for technical innovation and implementation of new initiatives to ensure continued and increased revenue generation as well as driving competitive advantage through adoption of digital technologies.

- Strategy Alignment: Contributes towards the development of divisional strategy representing the digital agenda and translates strategic intent into actions that bring about business and technology change.
- Innovation: Drives innovation and keeps abreast of industry technology trends to enable identification and implementation of emerging strategic technologies within the telecommunications space.
- Operations: Provides strategic direction with regards to the optimization and continuous improvement activities of the department. Provides end-to-end oversight on architecture, analysis, evaluation, design, integration, development & vendor management activities. Guides collection of business requirements, design and implementation of strategic business projects to create value.
- Governance: Ensures compliance to defined Governance Policies & Procedures for Business continuity, Security controls and general Information Systems operations.
- Team Management: Manages team to ensure timely delivery of business objectives
- Quality Management: Adheres to the company quality management system

Job Requirements

- Degree in Computer science, Electronics, Communications or Engineering.
- BSS/OSS technologies
- Agile/Prince 2 Practitioner
- At least 5 years’ implementation experience within a Telco, Media or Financial Services industries
- At least 4 years Project Management experience
- Proven experience dealing with vendors and vendor contracts
- Proven record on management of complex projects
- Relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage
