JOB SUMMARY
Mascom is looking for a Finance Controller to lead and manage the financial operations of the Mobile Money business by ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, planning and budgeting, treasury management, cost control, and strategic financial advisory. The role supports executive decision-making by delivering timely and accurate financial insights that guide sustainable growth, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

The candidate should demonstrate key technical competencies being IFRS and Botswana financial regulatory reporting, mobile money liquidity & float reconciliation, financial modelling, forecasting & variance analysis, budgeting & financial planning, treasury & cash flow management, internal controls & financial risk management, ERP systems, mobile money platforms & reconciliation tools, advanced excel and financial reporting software.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Full professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA Botswana is required.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a financial services or fintech environment.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations in a regulated institution or digital financial services business.
