JOB SUMMARY

Mascom is looking for Fintech Interns to support the centralization and coordination of Know Your Customer (KYC) processes across key customer functions. The role will contribute to enhanced operational efficiency, customer experience, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Location: Gaborone, Botswana
Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance / Banking, Entrepreneurship, ICT or related fields
Closing Date: 23rd July 2026

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance / Banking, Entrepreneurship, ICT or related fields.

Key competencies for the role are project management, customer query management, commercial acumen & organizational awareness, cross-departmental collaboration, drive innovation & agility, self- discipline & resilience, results orientation & execution and negotiation.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance / Banking, Entrepreneurship, ICT or related fields.
  • Experience: 0–2 years (Recent graduate or early-career professional).
  • Prior internship or part-time experience in: Sales and customer service, Digital finance or mobile money platforms, Mobile money or agency banking operations; Telecom or Financial services sales (advantageous).
