Manager – Human Capital Business Partner

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Human Capital Officer, The Manager- Human Capital Business Partner is responsible for managing people management interventions and the strategic delivery of Human Capital services and operations to ensure that they are aligned with Mascom’s overall business objectives.

Location: Gaborone, Botswana
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Capital (HC), Organizational and/or Industrial Psychology or related field.

Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Capital (HC), Organizational and/or Industrial Psychology or related field.

Key behavioral competencies for the job include Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking, Commercial Acumen & Organisational Awareness, Decision Making, Planning & Organisational Management.

 

The candidate should also demonstrate key technical competencies of Employee Engagement & Productivity Management, Employee & Labour Relations as well as Human Capital Policy Design & Development. In addition, the incumbent should demonstrate competence on People Management & Career Development, Results Orientation and Delivery as well as Employee Engagement & Productivity Management.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Capital (HC), Organizational and/or Industrial Psychology or related field.
  • Post Graduate Training in HC or related field will be an added advantage.
  • Five (5) years of practical work experience, three (3) of which must have been in a senior officer/supervisory role within the Human Resources/Capital function.
  • Preferred industries include Telecommunications, Information Technology (IT) etc
