Key Performance Areas

As the Project Manager OSS/BSS Transformation, your primary responsibilities will include:

 

Project Leadership: Take charge of the end-to-end project management of our BSS transformation project. Lead a team of dedicated professionals to execute project plans effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document business requirements for the successful execution of the transformation project, aligning it with the company’s long-term goals.

 

Scope: Assume the responsibility for the delivery of solution according to agreed scope.

 

Stakeholder Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring seamless integration of their solutions into our systems. Working with various stakeholders you will assume overall responsibility for the gathering, analyzing and documenting requirements to deliver a solution that matches business needs.

 

Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality results and adherence to industry standards throughout the project’s lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop testing, assurance, and change management plans for the successful execution of the transformation project. Ensure alignment to strategic objectives.

 

Communication and Reporting: Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and any relevant updates through clear and concise reports and presentations.

 

Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure the project stays on track and within defined timelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters would be an added advantage.
  2. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically working with Charging, CRM, Billing, Networking, VAS and CORE systems within a Telco service provider. Strong technical understanding of OSS/BSS systems, associated technologies, and industry trends.
  3. Proven track record in successfully managing complex Telco projects, delivering results on time and within budget.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Knowledge of TMForum Business Process Framework, ETOM and ODA will be an added advantage.
  6. Project Management qualification highly desired
