JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Legal Affairs and Compliance Officer role will be responsible for providing internal legal advice to the company throughout all its divisions and to manage legal and reputational risk by ensuring compliance to relevant legislation and regulatory compliance.

- Bachelor’s Degree in law

Key behavioral competencies for the job include Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking, Commercial Acumen & Organizational Awareness, Communication, Planning & Organization/ Work Management as well as Interpersonal Awareness. In addition, the incumbent should be able to Supervise & Delegate.
In addition, the candidate must be able to display key technical competencies including Compliance & Regulatory Management, Employee Engagement & Productivity Management, Legal Documentation Drafting & Reviewing and Local & Regulatory Knowledge.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in law
- Admitted to practice law in the Courts of Botswana
- At least 5 years’ experience in legal and regulatory affairs environment. A combination of experience at a law firm/ private practice and in a corporate environment will be an added advantage.
