Safer Internet Day 2025

Mascom joined UNICEF, BOCRA, Ministry of Education and Skills Development, and other stakeholders to commemorate the 2025 Safer Internet Day led by the Ministry of Communications and Innovation (MCI).

Safer Internet Day is a global commemoration that is aimed at raising awareness and promoting the safe use of the internet. As a key ICT stakeholder that takes pride in its vast internet connectivity products and services such as Mascom MySatellite, MySurf, MySurf Fibre etc., we find it imperative that we participate and support such initiatives.

As part of the commemoration and our commitment to making the internet a safe place, we unveiled our partnership with Cybersmart Botswana, our 2024 Mascom Batanani beneficiary. Cybersmart Botswana will be undertaking a public schools roadshow aimed at raising awareness and empowering students to stay safe while using the internet.
